Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill is proud to say, "our operations generate no wood waste".

I use the island to store my pots and pans in the middle section; the left side storage area I use to keep some of my cake decorating supplies (I have alot); and the right side storage area I use to keep my laundry cleaning supplies (my washer/dryer is in the kitchen and there was no place to keep these supplies except the floor previously or haul them out of a closet in a different room). I do some canning/freezing of fruits/vegetables and this island made this process so much easier this year. I really enjoy having this addition to my kitchen and I was thrilled to be able to purchase it for a much lesser price than I originally expected when I first started shopping for an island.

My husband is not a handyman so it was up to me to put the island together. I had no problem. I did have a part shipped that was broken but I just called and they sent a replacement right away. I would purchase something from this company again if I needed to. The Island is great. I have only had it for a while but it seems that it is working out well so far.

This product is even better then what we expected! Very good quality and construction. Putting it together was a bit challenging, but one person was able to do it with time and patience! We were very happy with the delivery time and the fact that even though we were missing a piece, it was sent immediately. Very great quality piece that we already enjoy having in our home!

I just love my new kitchen cart. My kitchen is now complete and roomier. I also have the extra space I needed for storage. I only wish I had purchased it sooner. I would recommend it to anyone who is considering purchasing it.

The product did have to be assembled, but the instructions were pretty good. We have only had it a month, but it does everything we were looking for. It dried it out fast, but after buying some of the oil recommended by Catskill, it looks very nice and I think it well age well.

I liked it except a right side drawer (DS-64230/38/R )was broken when we opened the box
