Comments about Chris & Chris Pro Chef "Chop N' Drop" Food Prep Station:
This kitchen cart has a very good quality countertop. It glides smoothly, even when heavy with products/tools. The metal rack is a cheap addition to the cart, which is odd because all other parts are good or great. The drawer cannot support many tools, esp. not heavy ones. It also stains in a favorable manner that does not make it unattractive after wear/use.

Comments about Chris & Chris Pro Chef "Chop N' Drop" Food Prep Station:
This purchase was my second kitchen island. The first I use in the kitchen as extra food preparation space. I use this one for my sewing room. It makes a great cutting surface (for small jobs). Spray starch etc fit on the rack at the side, cutters etc. in the drawer and fabric, supplies etc on the shelves underneath. It is a comfortable height for cutting (for me) and then I can cut and swish the scraps etc. into the pan and empty at the end of the project. The wheels make it easily moved about the room. It can also serve as a small ironing surface. I liked this surface size because it will hold the smaller cutting mat and ironing surface perfectly.

I searched for a long time, and this cart is such a great value. It stands up to carts twice the price. The wood looks so nice, it's helpful for extra counter space, food prep and storage, and I'm really happy with it.

The butcherblock cart provides the extra "counter" space I need in the kitchen. I set my groceries on it while unloading into the freezer or refrigerator, it comes in handy when serving up dinner because I have an extra surface to set dished plates prior to taking to the dining room.
