Only complaint was that the construction wasn't the best, but what do you expect for the price. I've been enjoying the kitchen island for a couple months with no complaints. I'm guessing I'll be using this for a few years until I can afford to redo the kitchen, then this will probably find a home in the workshop.

This is a great kitchen Island! I looked long and hard for an island that looks nice and has a large counter space. All the kitchen carts I looked at through [...] were very small. You have lots of room to work with. It's very sturdy. I had one issue, the counter top part was slightly warped. Only visible if you're kneeling on the ground. It was enough to bother me though. I called Kitchen carts regarding this problem and they sent me a new top no questions asked. I didn't even have to send the old top back! There's nothing worse than having to send something back and wait for a replacement. This is the way business should be done. Also delivery was very fast. With free shipping it only took about four to five days for me to receive it.

I recieved the island in 3 days of ordering. Has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I have been able to prepare dishes, bake more and just over all very pleased with it.

This work center is a bit difficult to assemble, only because of the weight factor, not because of poor design. This is not a light weight item, it's beefy! It comes in 2 boxes, one is the top and the other box is everything else (HEAVY!). I assembled it upright by myself (instructions are for assembly on it's side, but I could NEVER have flipped it upright alone -I am not of the male persuasion) but strongly recommend having a buddy help. All the pieces lined up and it fit together perfectly. It was worth the struggle to get it assembled. The instructions left out lots of small but important details, common sense is required.[...] I just love it! I needed more counter space in my small kitchen and more easy access storage too. This island provides both and is just beautiful. This is a large item, the dimensions are accurate. It also rolls easily but doesn't move unless you want it to. The height is perfect for working in the kitchen -no leaning over. I am so glad I ordered it!

The whole top rolls down from the center to each side- enough that a ball will not stay still...the top corner split while locking cams, however, I have the ability to re glue the top using a bar clamp and a lot of carpenters glue.

This island not only looks great in our kitchen, but it provides great storage and easy access to items on the middle shelf. Assembly took several hours, but was not difficult.
