We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. This is a very sturdy table - made from real wood and not the particle board that usually comes with assemble yourself type of furniture. Once it is together the buffet looks and feels like a high quality piece of furniture. The buffet serves as a microwave table / storage space in my very small kitchen. It looks great and is very functional for a SMALL microwave. A large appliance will not fit on the top! The only negative is that I found it to be quite difficult to assemble, but that may be my own problem :)
