While the wheels do lock, it's cumbersome to get to the locking mechanism.\n\nWhen moving the cart, the drop-down table support 'drags'. Suggest the hinges be altered such that when support isn't being used it is lifted slightly.

Easy assembly, well thought out, sturdy. Love the mobility, able to move easily to clean and move to deck for barbequing. The island is perfect for a narrow kitchen, allowing easy movement around and enough room to open dishwasher on one side and refrigerator on the other. I would prefer having only one door with shelves (I took out shelves on one side and use it for trash) but would like four big drawers instead of four little and limited ones in the middle. It would be better to have four wider drawers for storage of mixing spoons, etc.

I love my kitchen island! It matched my kithen cabinets great. It was easy to put together. Beautiful piece of furniture. Everyone that has seen it loves it. It is great for storage. Wish the drawers were a little longer....but I still love it!Also, great for needing extra space to serve from.

Purchased for our pool house kitchen. Added much needed counter space and storage for blender and pots/pans. Wish drawers were deeper but overall very pleased with the product. No problem putting it together. Good value and storage for the price.

I use the stainless steel side for food prep and the other side is used as a breakfast bar. The quality of construction is great and we have had it a month without any problems at all.
