This cart houses my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. It is adequate and looks fine. I wanted something made with real wood and this stand is great. HOWEVER:my husband assembled it and had problems. There was a split on the side panes where the wheels attach. I didn't notice this when I unpacked it, but I just did a once-over look to make sure there wasn't any damage from shipping. Then the hinges for one door were not in the right place. He had to drill new holes to attach the door. Finally, the drawer fit had problems. So be warned: check it over carefully, and make sure all holes will line up before attempting assembly. I would have sent it back,and customer service would sent replacement parts, but I didn't want to go through assembly again. Once assembled it's fine.

It gives me the extra counter top and storage that I so desperately needed.
The casters make the island unstable for some kinds of food preparations. The bottom panel of the drawer is a few inches too small.

Assembly was complex and required at least 2 people.
Several parts/pieces were very similar and difficult to determine which was which. (labels on each piece would help)
Read the instructions once, then read them again and lay all parts out on the floor first before you even put the first two together.

I have a very small kitchen with very little counter space and storage. I use this kitchen cart as a place to store my microwave and add additional storage. This cart is a replacement for a cheaper one I bought several years ago, (different brand). This cart is so much nicer, much more durable and sturdy - I doubt this one will ever have to be replaced. I am very happy with it and definitely recommend this product to anyone in need of such a cart.

I put this together by myself (older female). No problem except two pieces are nearly identical, and I measured them to be sure I put them in the right place (might help to have them marked). I like the locking wheels, but wish I had put them both on the front side, because I have it pushed up against the counter, and it tends to move just a slight bit, when opening and closing the microwave door. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with quality, and how it looks.

Very easy to put together, good quality, and looks great in my kitchen. First piece of furniture I have ever successfully been able to put together on my own.

I use it as my microwave stand. It was easy to put together. For storage the top shelf isn't very high proportioned to the bottom, leaving it rather useless for me.
